KURT CARLSON |
Kurt joined the agency in 1989 as a Commercial Sales Specialist. He became a Vice President and Partner in 1994, and was Sales Manager and Senior Vice President from 1998-2002. In 2002, Kurt was named Executive Vice President and in 2005, promoted to President & COO. Last year (2007), he took over as CEO and is now responsible for the overall operations and business affairs of the company. Kurt began his career as an underwriter and has since developed a wide range of expertise, including manufacturing, processing, distribution, foreign and professional liability, settling business income claims, pollution, banker’s bonds, errors and omissions, director’s and officer’s liability, crime, and employment practices. As a Partner in Propel, Kurt is especially proud of the relationships the agency has developed with leading carriers. |

PETER M. HENDRICK |
Pete joined the company in 2004, as Chief Financial Officer and was named Corporate Treasurer in 2005. Pete’s responsibilities include managing the corporate finances and technology. Prior to joining Propel, Pete worked in public accounting for almost 10 years and private industry in excess of 10 years. Although Pete and his family now live in Poulsbo, Washington, he began his career in a much sunnier climate, earning his business administration degree from California State University at Sacramento. Pete is a Certified Public Accountant in California and Washington and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. |

PETER COMFORT |
Peter brings 25+ years of insurance expertise to his role at Propel. He began his career as an Underwriter for Industrial Indemnity in Seattle, and later worked for Comfort and Fleming Insurance Brokers in Tacoma. Peter joined the agency in 1988, and has served in a variety of leadership roles, including Branch Manager of Propel’s Puyallup and Tacoma offices. In 2006, Peter was elected Corporate Secretary. |
