Propel Insurance Welcomes Curt Johnson to the Southeast Team
Propel Insurance and The Alera Group company welcome Curt “CJ” Johnson to our Alpharetta, Georgia offices as an Enterprise Sales Executive. He brings with him a wealth of business-to-business sales, marketing, and client service experience; with his last 6 years selling HR services to C-suite executives. These services included employee benefits and insurance administration, payroll, learning management, time and attendance, and employee performance and compliance administration. CJ has also partnered with many benefit and insurance brokers, banks, and 401K financial advisers.
Propel’s Southeast team provides risk management and employee benefit group solutions primarily to healthcare, construction, and business services clients. CJ will focus on selling both The Alera Group and Propel Insurance solutions to offer client prospects risk management, hospitality, employee benefits, 401K services, wealth management, and more. When asked about his new company-wide enterprise sales role, Johnson says, “When clients and prospects are shopping for risk management solutions, these same C-level executives also manage their employees’ health insurance, life, and 401K administration. If they are the owners of the company, the 401K options can affect the company financials in addition to their own personal wealth management as well.”

Johnson graduated from the University of Northern Iowa, where he studied Communications and Journalism and played baseball for the Panthers. He attended business school at Penn State University and WHU in Vallendar, Germany (Otto Beisheim School of Economics) earning his MBA degree.
CJ lives in Milton, Georgia with his wife Polly, and their two dogs Sampson and Snickers. His daughter Lexie attends the University of Kentucky, where he and Polly enjoy attending football and basketball games. He is a member of the North Fulton Chamber of Commerce, the SRANA Long-Term Healthcare Networking Forum, and the Customer Experience Professionals Association (CXPA). In his spare time, CJ enjoys golf, tennis, hiking, travel, and landscaping.
