Propel Welcomes Marie Gallanar to our Manufacturing Practice

Propel Insurance, an Alera Group Company, welcomes Marie Gallanar to lead our manufacturing practice group. Marie brings nearly two decades of experience in financial services, with ten years specializing in the insurance industry and eight years in banking.

Marie will serve Propel clients across the manufacturing landscape—from consumer products and aerospace to heavy industrial firms—with expertise in businesses holding Department of Defense contracts. Her holistic approach, understanding of risk from the shop floor to the global supply chain, and finance background make her the broker of choice for manufacturers and distributors nationwide. She is passionate about building strong partnerships that drive her clients’ growth, innovation, and long-term success.

She leverages a deep connection to the manufacturing sector, honed through her membership and speaking engagements with the PNAA (Pacific Northwest Aerospace Alliance) and her board roles with CAMPS (Center for Advanced Manufacturing Puget Sound) and WiM (Women in Manufacturing). Marie’s background also includes national leadership with the Women in Finance community, where she provided leadership and team-building education to CFOs across industries.

Based in Issaquah, Washington, Marie enjoys spending time outdoors with her family—mountain biking, skiing, and snowmobiling. She’s also a huge fan of podcasts like “How I Built This” and is an avid reader.
