Propel Welcomes Jeff Hughes as Vice President of P&C Claims
Propel Insurance, an Alera Group company, welcomes Jeff Hughes to our Property and Casualty team as Vice President of P&C Claims. Jeff joins Propel, bringing over 26 years of progressive P&C claims experience to our organization.
Jeff will lead our national claims team, delivering expert claims advocacy, coverage insight, proactive communication, and dedicated support to our clients across the country. When asked about his new role, Jeff shares, “I’m honored to support our clients through challenging times and contribute to meaningful outcomes.”

Jeff Hughes lives in Puyallup, Washington. Jeff has earned an MBA in Insurance from the University of Olivet and several insurance designations, including CPCU, SCLA, ARM, AIC, and CRIS. In his spare time, Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife, Mylea, and their three children, Alexis (20), Kyle (18), and Brodie (16). Together they love to fish, bike, hike, and water ski.
