Propel Welcomes Celeste Van Vliet as Surety Director

Propel Insurance, An Alera Group company, welcomes Celeste Van Vliet as Surety Director. Celeste joins Propel bringing over 17 years of technical expertise providing innovative surety solutions to her clients.

Born and raised in Washington, Celeste’s family includes several contractors and when she graduated from the University of Washington she found a job as an underwriter which led to a fulfilling career in surety. Celeste has worked for a managing general agency as well as middle market and large contract sureties.

Celeste lives in Edmonds. Professionally, she participates in various industry associations and is always looking to learn and grow her industry knowledge. In her personal time Celeste enjoys time with family, cooking, travel and is a football mom to two sons.
